What causes it

How we fix it on-site
We use physical key entry to get past the unresponsive app, since a key card or mechanical key bypasses the wireless wake-up entirely. Once inside, we test and restore the 12V system if that's what's blocking the wake sequence.
Deep sleep issues are usually 12V related, since the wake circuit runs on low-voltage power. A genuinely empty high-voltage pack won't stop a car from waking up, it just won't drive far after.

North County Inland
Escondido, San Marcos, and the I-15 corridor spread drivers out over longer distances between chargers than the coast. Inland heat runs several degrees hotter than the beach, which degrades range and stresses aging 12V batteries at the same time. Misjudged trips are more common out here simply because the miles add up faster.

Why won't my EV respond to the app after sitting for a week?

Is a car that won't wake up the same as a dead battery?
